PlayMob has scooped up the award for Best Pitch at the 2011 Tech City Entrepreneurs Festival and Highly Commended at the Europas Awards.
Launched as a result of last year’s Tech City initiative unveiled by Prime Minister David Cameron, the Entrepreneurs Festival is a week-long event hosting over 250 of the world’s best entrepreneurs at a business boot camp. It is by far the largest event of its kind staged in Europe, giving a unique opportunity for companies to take part in mentoring services and, in PlayMob’s case, to showcase their companies to leading entrepreneurs and investors.
Jude Ower, CEO of PlayMob not only pitched to entrepeneurs and investors but won the Best Pitch award on behalf of PlayMob!
The results for the hotly anticipated Europas Awards were also announced with PlayMob narrowly missing Best Gaming or Social Games Startup, but still being highly commended.
